Description Kelly Services is seeking candidates for a **Production Technician** role with an industry leading, Fortune 500, global, chemical manufacturing company in **Kendallville, IN.** This is a full time, indefinite contract position with Kelly Services.

**JOB DETAILS**

Shift: 11PM-7AM Sunday-Thursday

Pay: $17/HR

**Scope of work includes:**


+ Operate and maintain a forklift in a safe and efficient manner - not required
+ Rolling a 3 foot x 3 foot slab of adhesive and inserting it into a tube
+ Catching adhesive on the other side of the machine and cutting it to specific length
+ Wrapping material in plastic
+ Moving material to shipping department
+ Observe product quality and make required changes, and corrections with minimal supervision
+ Maintain safe work standards
+ Perform other duties as directed
**Requirements:**


+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Ability to understand/speak English (i.e. hazard labels, emergency response communication, product labels, etc.).
+ Ability to stand for an entire shift.
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision as part of high performing team
+ Experience in manufacturing environment (preferred)
+ Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime on short notice
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Stable work history
**Full Job Description:**

Extrude rubber according to the manufacturing SOP specifications, including TSP, rate, preform, quality, packaging and labeling. Meet ISO requirements such as WI-059 SOP Tolerance. Operate the extruder and associated equipment safely and efficiently according to equipment and process SOP-SKP’s. Follow production schedule sequence and maintain extruder uptime/production efficiency. Maintain housekeeping per the 5S program. Complete assigned training as required including safety meetings. Cleared and able to operate powered industrial truck (PIT). Miscellaneous other production-related tasks as assigned on an as-required basis. Deliver product sample to the QA lab.
