**Schedule/Shift:** Mon.-Fri. 3rd Shift - 9:00 pm to 6:00 am

**Salary Range:** Open depending on experience and education

**Position Summary:** Under general supervision of the Manufacturing Operations Manager, the Sanitation Supervisor will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the facility as well as supervising the sanitation team and housekeeper. Other responsibilities include ensuring the facility is in compliance with federal, state and local regulations and mandates. Achieve sanitation objectives regarding, safety, quality, efficiency, effectiveness, cost, and environmental impact and customer service, knowledge, and adherence of company policies and procedures to ensure that the facility complies with sanitation programs and housekeeping rules.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Oversees daily operations of the sanitation department, constantly monitoring efficiency while searching for methods to improve overall performance.
+ Enforce compliance and application of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) throughout the production area.
+ Supervise, train and develop a strong sustainable sanitation team.
+ Conduct daily team meetings to ensure your team has the information needed to perform their daily tasks safely and effectively so that production schedules are not delayed.
+ Maintain, revise and monitor a Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), which includes daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning items/entries.
+ Develop sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and FDA regulations for all sanitation tasks.
+ Responsible for reviewing CIP charts and logs for proper documentation.
+ Monitor environmental impact of wastewater.
+ Ensure work orders are completed as needed.
+ Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety and environmental compliance.
+ Using approved chemicals for CIP, COP and foaming operations. Dilute and mix chemicals in accordance with approved company procedures and dilution ratios.
+ Ensure use of personal protective equipment by team members when using chemicals, high-pressure equipment, tools/components or during sanitation operations.
+ Responsible for meeting or exceeding all established quality standards.
+ Perform other duties as directed by the Manufacturing Operations Manager.
+ Management responsibilities: 7 direct reports: 1 sanitation lead, 5 sanitation technicians, 1 CIP Operator
**Job Requirements:**

+ Preferred Bachelor's degree in a science-based area of study preferred (Biology, Microbiology, or other related discipline).
+ Preferred 3 years employment in a Sanitation Supervisor position.
+ One (1) - three (3) years' experience working with sanitation chemicals in the manufacturing industry.
+ Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
+ Good written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to read, write and speak English.
+ Ability to stay focused and alert, utilize basic math skills, and audit paperwork; carry out routine tasks with appropriate follow-up.
+ Ability to stand for long periods of time, to work in a confined area, to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
+ Effectively adapt to change.
+ Ability to lead and motivate subordinates.
+ Must be able to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
