Description **Job Description**

Temp-to-hire Account Manager to support a growing Health Services organization in Glastonbury, CT. Manage client relations and contractual oversight for a highly visible account. The ideal candidate will have proven project/account management skills and working knowledge of health insurance structure.

Basic responsibilities include:

- Learn and maintain overall knowledge of program and client's goals and requirements and program's operational systems.

- Be responsible for client service and contractual agreement of a specific client

- Be the primary point of contact and communicator with the client during normal business hours.

- Conduct consultations with the client as necessary.

- Ensure that all items/issues are addressed and are resolved and the outcome is communicated to the affected staff.

- Perform quality assurance to ensure that SLA-s are being met, and that meaningful and accurate reports are being provided to external and internal customers.

- Review assigned contract on a monthly basis to ensure obligations are met; maintain contract compliance.

- Identify areas of improvement in order to make the most of staff, time and resources in order to administer all programs cost effectively.

- Serve as the group facilitator or meeting leader for the assigned programs- meetings.

**Requirements**

Required Experience Includes:

- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

- 2- 3 years of prior demonstrated successful account management experience.

- Working knowledge of health insurance-premiums and claims, the health industry, government affairs and subsidy administration.

- Proficiency with all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

- Excellent communication (oral and written) and customer service skills; ability to present information to a group clearly and concisely.

- Ability to work with ambiguity and be flexible to changes.
