+ Do you have 2-3 years of relevant corporate accounting experience?
+ Hands-on experience with financial analyses processes and accounting policies?
+ This contract position is located onsite in Fargo, ND USA
+ _M-F 8am-4:30pm_ !
+ Pay based on Experience: **$20.00-$25.00/hr**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting **_or Equivalent Experience needed_** .
**_Accountant Analyst_**

**_OVERVIEW:_**


+ The Accountant Analyst will solves problems, communicates clearly and effectively, and demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement.
+ The Accountant Analyst will understand key functions, processes and operations with health plans and how it services companies.
+ Knowledgeable how businesses in health care and how shared services businesses succeed
**_REQUIRED Skills_** :


+ Accounting theories and practices - in-depth knowledge
+ Treasury management functions - working knowledge
+ Pc software: windows office, financial system, outlook
+ Mathematical/analytical background Must be able to work independently, have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication skills to interface with SAP teams, EM employees, Suppliers, etc.
**Maintain financial records for CoreLink**


+ Utilize subject matter expertise to engage in the decision making process
+ Analyze and process payroll, research tax requirements, and submit tax payments and filings
+ Maintain, research, and analyze the tracking of benefit transactions
+ Engage in the planning and preparation of budgets
+ Prepare audit schedules and other information for annual financial audit
+ Compile financial information from financial system ledgers and other reporting sources
+ Process receipts and disbursements daily if necessary
**Perform and review financial analyses**


+ Engage in the review and analysis of monthly financial statements and transactions
+ Identify, research, and explain variances in company financials to leadership
+ Escalate issues with variances
+ Answer questions from supervisor and management
+ Engage in review and analysis of annual budget
+ Assist in creation of investment reporting and presentations
+ Assist in development of cash flow and operating expense projections
**Provide information to internal resources and external auditors**


+ Provide overview and explanation of methods used to compile financial records
+ Answer questions related to financial information
+ Create a consistent, clear format for sharing data with leadership
+ Provide data to support financial information
+ Prepare, track, research, and analyze project hour actuals
+ Implement corrective action plans as necessary
**Research accounting rules and regulations and assist in develop accounting policies**


+ Review NAIC and GAAP treatment of financial transactions as they arise
+ Engage in developing accounting and reporting procedures and make recommendations based on research
+ Stay current on accounting guidelines and rules as they are published and pertain to the industry
**Assist in executing treasury operations**


+ Maintain current banking agreements for services provided
+ Research of new bank products or processes available
+ Communicate/recommend research results to management for enhancement of current procedure and implement the new processes and procedures
+ Maintain positive banking relationship between CoreLink and financial institutions
+ Review monthly account fee statements from banks
+ Monitor miscellaneous investments
+ Evaluate daily cash balances and cash flow
+ Initiate fund transfers as needed from/to operating accounts
+ Maximize returns on investments and minimize bank fees
**Mentor and provide expertise to staff**
