Description Kelly Financial Resources is currently seeking Accounting Assistant

We are seeking candidates with the following skill set who are available to start work immediately, this is for one of our top clients

As an Accounting Assistant you will be responsible assisting the credit department with ongoing projects. Support and Training will be provided.

**Responsibilities include:**


+ Receives and processes vendor invoices as part of preparation for payments
+ Vendor invoice initial processing (receiving, organizing, coding, scanning and filing).
+ Will do data entry, research purchase orders and identify invoice discrepancies.
+ Verifies invoices for quantity, unit pricing and communicate with warehouse for discrepancy issues.
+ Assist in preparing credit memos.
+ Properly organize and file all documents and paid invoices.
+ Research discrepancies and verify any account discrepancies
+ Enter and review customer accounts
+ Work directly with the credit department and help with current over flow
+ Review and file Invoices
+ Manage daily accounting tasks
+ Assist with accounts payable related data entry
+ Maintain vendor files
+ Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of transactions processed
+ Conducting research on discrepancies and making appropriate corrections or adjustments
+ Responding to and resolving inquiries
+ Posting and verifying data
**Job Requirements:**


+ High School diploma required
+ Accounting Degree a plus
+ 1 to 3 years accounts payable and/or receivable experience

+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
+ Familiarity with accounting terms
+ Knowledge of data entry into SAP is a plus
+ 2+ years of experience in Accounting, AP, A/R, Billing, Customer Service
+ Basic mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills
+ Possesses familiarity/knowledge of basic accounting terminology and concepts, and manual or automated filing systems
+ Ability to work accurately under time constraints
