Description Accounting Clerk I Location: Downtown Chicago Term: 3+ month contract assignment Pay rate: $17/hour

Responsibilities: Handles Checks and Financial transactions includes: Processing returned-stop request for checks operating checks, printing-matching vouchers/back up and mail the checks. Import files in system. Requires the ability to pay attention to detail and complete transactions on the financial systems without error. Must be detail oriented. Perform general filing duties including handling mails/checks, sorting, logging in databases and distributing mail.

Requirements:


+ High School diploma
+ Requires ability to enter the requests in system.
+ Need excellent typing speed with no errors.
+ Intermediate to advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office: MS Word and MS Excel.
+ Excellent knowledge of MS Outlook.
+ Strong communication and writing skill for handling emails.
+ Requires knowledge of proper grammar.
