Kelly Services is hiring for a Accounts Receivable Clerk in Brunswick, Ohio for our client.


This role is contract to Hire or possibly Direct Hire with the client.


**_Job Description:_** Detail oriented, discreet person to provide financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. The Accounts Receivable Clerk must comply with established policies and procedures. Individual will handle confidential information pertaining to numerous internal companies and clients/vendors.


**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**


+ Perform day to day processing of financial transactions to ensure that company finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner

+ Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information, follows up with department heads for missing or inaccurate information

+ Receive payments via mail, ACH, etc. and post to financial software

+ Work with Account Management, DC Management and Admin teams to create client invoices

+ Capture and invoice all internal POs processed on behalf of clients

+ Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, account management, admins and department heads

+ Resolves valid deductions (and requests for credits) by entering and processing credit memos

+ Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients billing issues

+ Facilitate swift payment of invoices due to the organization by sending bill reminders and contacting clients with outstanding accounts

+ Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status

+ Inventory office supplies, submit to purchasing, receive supplies when delivered

+ Support other accounting projects and functions as necessary

+ Track time in company time tracking system

+ Work Overtime to ensure compliance with completion dates for invoicing and financial transactions

+ Additional duties as the job evolves

+ Meet attendance requirements of the job

+ Adhere to company and department policies and procedures

+ Filing


Work Schedule- 8a-4:30p, 8:30a-5p, 9a-5:30pm-flexible to allow employee to choose start time working 8 hour shift, with hour unpaid lunch


Snapshot of Benefits- Medical, dental, vision, supplemental AFLAC available, 401k-can enroll after 30 days, PTO (accrued by eligibility date)=2 weeks for first 2 years, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 12 years. OT Pay-upon manager approval, 9 paid holidays, bereavement leave=3 days for immediate family members.


**Additional Responsibilities:**


+ Keep kitchen and tableware clean, stocked and neat

+ Set up/Purchase for client and company visits

+ Answer inter-company lines

+ Cross train with others in the department

+ Inventory office supplies, submit to purchasing, receive supplies when delivered

+ Cover front desk at least 1 full day per week as well as breaks and lunch coverage duties split with others in the department


**_Requirements:_**


+ Knowledge the individual has QuickBooks, QuickBooks Pro and/or QuickBooks Enterprise experience; knowledge and experience of PC network environment and popular software programs including, but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel and the internet; possesses an accounting background, financial knowledge or on the job experience

+ Professionalism the individual possesses a professional appearance, mannerisms and attitude, is experienced in office protocol, possesses strong interpersonal skills
