Our Government client in Bradenton, FL is looking for an Administrative Assistant II for their office.

This is a Contract position for close to a year (through 6/30/2021) and eligible for Kelly Services Contractor perks such as Medical, Dental, Vision coverage through the ACA compliant healthcare plan.

Pay rate: 15.00 per hour; projected start date is July 27th or August 4th, 2020. Position will be on site off of 6th Ave E.

**Schedule:** This is a full-time (40-hours a week), 1st shift position. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM (1/2 hour lunch)

**Job duties include:**

+ The incumbent assists the in the coordination of administrative tasks and/or assignments which are complex in nature and very broad in objective with integration of diverse functions. The incumbent represents the agency, its mission and values and is expected to promote cooperation, courtesy and teamwork in a diverse environment. Specific duties are as follows:
Provides administrative support with correspondence, periodic reports and general clerical duties. Independently composes various letters for signature, provides technical assistance with all human resource matters, procedures, travel, and correspondence. Performs special assignments, research and report preparation. Compiles data, peforms purchasing and is responsible for handling department requests.Receives incoming mail, including undesignated agency-wide mail, and independently determines inquiries and issues to refer to qualified individuals for action and resolutionInitiates and follows-up on projects - planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating related activities. Researches and develops information and prepares materials needed. Compiles, analyzes and presents data.Maintains an effective, up-to-date record retention/filing system which includes memoranda, letters, reports, statistics, personnel data. Maintains, categorizes, retrieves and provides information. Schedules meetings, prepares Agenda items and informs attendees and guests; prepares Minutes of the meeting in a timely manner, and posts the Minutes perusal of all staff. Coordinates meetings and trainings as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.Acknowledges that all information held in personnel and health records is confidential, with access governed by state and federal laws. Confidential information includes the client's name, address, medical, social and financial data and services received. This employee shall ensure that clients are afforded privacy, confidentiality and dignity.

**Job requirements:**

+ High School Diploma (or GED) is required

+ Experience Preferred with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook and Excel. Must have strong data entry skills.

+ Effective communications skills, in writing and verbally.

+ Experience in the use of computer systems.

+ Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective communication; the principles of human behavior, learning, and communication; on; methods of compiling, organizing and analyzing data; various audio-visual equipment, computer applications, and software programs and skilled in usage of such. Able to coordinate training programs and activities; work independently; utilize problem-solving techniques; understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures; prepare a variety of written training materials such as trainer manuals, lesson plans, curricula, performance evaluations or reports; communicate effectively; establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; prioritize workload; develop various reports.
