This position provides administrative support to HR team members and the facility. The Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR team members in supporting designated business groups. The primary responsibility of this role will be payroll processing and data entry along with responding to associates questions and helping out where needed. Bilingual speaking skills preferred (English & Spanish).

**Administrative Assistant Job Description** :

+ Processes facility-specific payroll on a bi-weekly basis, including adjustments and labor management data (or acts as back-up). Also coordinates promotions, transfers, and new hires.

+ Assists in coordinating employee activities (catering and external purchasing) for annual and ad-hoc events, such as Anniversary Awards, Perfect Attendance, etc.

+ Acts as primary support for creating and maintaining employee files both electronically and any applicable paper files to include I-9s and affirmative action files.

+ Stays current with leave of absence claims and updates Kronos/Time and Attendance accordingly.

+ Helps facilitate communications throughout the facility (i.e., job posting, federal compliance posters, etc.).

+ Stays current with company processes and procedures, as well as documents and maintains administrative procedures for assigned processes.

+ Assists with processing of personnel actions (i.e., notification for terminations, job transfers, retirements, etc.) with HRIS and other appropriate parties.

+ Schedule- Mon-Fri, 8:30am- 5:00pm


+ High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college/associates degree preferred.

+ 1-2 years of administrative HR or payroll experience required.

+ Education in the HR field is preferred but not required

+ Read, write, add subtract, multiply and divide understand implied instructions.

+ Excellent attendance is required.

+ Strong communication skills that include confidentiality, approachability and empathy are required.

+ Ability to learn and comprehend distribution/production business is required.

+ Intermediate knowledge of Kronos, MS Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel is required.

+ Must be able to learn the payroll system and employee service system.

+ High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

+ Ability to adapt and understand changing policies and procedures.

+ Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs.

+ Remote, weekend work may be required on payroll processing weeks.

+ A full vaccination against COVID-19 is required.

+ To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
