We are looking for a Temp-to-Hire Office Assistant for one of our clients to perform a range of administrative tasks in supporting a 60-person insurance brokerage firm located in mid-town Manhattan


- Bachelor's degree.

- Must have at least two years of administrative experience as an Office Manager/Administrative Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist.

- Strong experience in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.

- Ability to be proactive and anticipate the needs the team.

- True team player who is motivated and possesses a "can-do", no job is beneath you attitude.

- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

- Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills.

- Willingness to go above and beyond; covering some personal tasks as needed/assigned.


- Answers and screens all incoming telephone calls and greets visitors.

- Manages conference room schedule.

- Responsible for the coordination of catering for client meetings.

- Prepares presentations, reports, spreadsheets and general correspondence.

- Makes travel arrangements and prepares expense reports.

- Maintains office supplies and equipment.

- Organizes office kitchen and supply area.

- Acts as a liaison with building management company for maintenance issues.

- Manages and organizes lobby, office kitchen, supply closet and conference rooms.

- Sorts, scans, indexes and deliver mail daily.

- Manages FedEx account.

- Invoicing of accounts in our agency management system.

- Assist with licensing follow ups and surplus lines.

- Cross train/back up for Technical Assistants.
