Payrate: $20.80 per hour

**Whats a typical day as a Administrative Assistant supporting the Elastomers Dept.? Youll be:**

The Office Professional is the owner of all administrative support for the Elastomers department.

This role has primary responsibilities for the new team member integration process, ordering of materials for all buildings, meeting planning and conference room management, and administrative and office support for all department employees

+ Provides administrative and office support to the department

+ Provides direct administrative support to the Elastomers Production Leader including calendar management

+ Initiates all New Member Integrations and tracks through completion

+ Orders and manages all office and break room supplies

+ Organizes department events (i.e., Retirements, Department Dinners, Service Award, Holiday Dinners, Milestone Recognitions)

+ Provides office set up, computer access setup, phone set up, purchasing of furniture, departmental office organization for all team members, as needed

+ Owns and maintains department distribution lists and personnel contact information lists

+ Owns and maintains the department organizational chart

+ Works with the Employee Experience team to set expectations for department communications

+ Manages department communications to ensure messages are sent out to all department employees in a timely manner

+ Owns and maintains applicable meeting series requests (i.e. staff meetings, leadership meetings)

+ Records meeting minutes for all applicable meeting series and sends meeting minutes to the appropriate distribution lists

+ Serves as department contact for general housekeeping services to ensure that all buildings are maintained, and communicates any issues with regards to complaints and feedback from department employees

+ Serves as department contact for Cintas to ensure all employees have the needed uniforms

+ Serves as department contact for Shays to ensure water is delivered on schedule and make changes as needed.

+ Assists with coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements for all department employees (i.e., vehicle rental, hotel room, passport and visa, etc.).

+ Serves as department Healthy Culture Focal Point

+ Serves as ODMS Element Focal Point for Communications

**This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:**

+ High School Diploma / GED

+ 3+ years of office clerical / administrative support experience

+ Demonstrates knowledge of standard software: Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, FrontPage, and the Dow Intranet.
