Kelly Services is seeking candidates for an Administrative Assistant role with an industry leading, Fortune 500, global, chemical manufacturing company in Midland, MI. This is a full time, ongoing position with Kelly Services at this location.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Enter identified new hires/personnel into the Quest for Success tool

• Maintain accurate data in tracking log

• Complete all tasks assigned to the ‘admin delegate’ role in the Quest for Success tool in a timely and efficient manner

o Order Office Space and Furniture, if needed

o Update Global Directory

o Request Access and Organizational Updates

o Complete DSB roster process

o Schedule Transition Activities

o Forward Relevant Meeting Invitations

o Review Office Equipment & Productivity Tools

o Populate New Employee Contact & Information Sheet

o Update Travel Profile

• Prepare welcome documents and packages for new hires

• Update any organizational charts, work flows, and processes identified

• Plan and schedule meetings. Coordinate meeting logistics

• Utilize existing templates and tools to send timely communications

• Monitor the Quest for Success tool for each employee in-process; escalate delays and issues to ensure timely completion

• Use the Quest for Success tool effectively

• Ensure that resulting work products are accurate and professional

• Provide support for the on-boarding specialist, integration coaches and hiring managers (as it relates to the specific on-boarding program)

• Maintain data and/or produce reports as requested using SharePoint and/or Microsoft Excel

• Manage projects in areas of responsibility

• Coach others in building administrative skills


At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.


• High school/advanced secondary education with demonstrated ability to apply logical thinking and computational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

• Proficiency in SharePoint

• Ability to operate independently and to take the initiative in accomplishing job responsibilities

• Good project management skills

• Ability to work with cross-functional leaders, teams and global counterparts, contracting companies and partnering employers

• Positive attitude, with an open-minded approach to learning

• Ability to quickly learn and utilize DSB core work processes and tools

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Strong ability to manage several projects and initiatives

• Ability to prioritize, plan, organize and monitor multiple concurrent projects in order to meet established timing expectations
