Kelly Services is seeking a talented Administrative Operations Associate for a startup biopharmaceutical company in South San Francisco.

Payrate $24 + DOE

The Administrative Operations Associate will be responsible for ensuring seamless functioning of the facility by streamlining daily administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will also support strategic initiatives, function as a partner, and manage short-term and long-term projects. This individual should be a solutions-oriented professional with a meticulous eye for detail and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Oversee clerical tasks, such as sorting and sending mail, assisting with packages / deliveries as needed

Manage schedules for conference rooms and community spaces

Manage inventory system and order supplies as needed for office and break room

Submit work orders, schedule repairs for general office space and equipment, escort vendors as needed

Welcome all visitors / guests to the office

Ideal candidate:

The is person is the first point of contact and needs to be able to make a good first impression.

Must be able to wear multiple hats, has a start up mentality

Start up experience is a huge plus

Admin skills Knowledge of computer, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc), calendaring/scheduling

Think fast on their feet, they need to be able to accommodate needs of department and manager but has to know how to politely decline task when needed.

Professional, friendly, mature demeanor

Some experience with event planning for company, find creative and different ways for company events

They will be working/coordinating with day porters and janitors

Has to be able to schedule Zoom meeting and manage calendars/scheduling

Be able to manage expectation for purchasing and staffing kitchen (place 2-3 orders at Costco)


Flexibility and ability to prioritize new tasks appropriately and as needed

Superior interpersonal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Passion for excellent customer service

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Friendly, service-oriented, can do attitude

Keen attention to detail

Problem-solving and strong troubleshooting skills

Proficiency with common word processing, Microsoft Outlook, and spreadsheet software
