**Kelly Services** is currently seeking a **Analytical Chemist** in **Alpharetta, GA** to work a contract assignment 12 **month duration** for one of our top clients. **Primary Responsibilities includes:**



This position requires a Bachelor s Degree in Chemistry and 3-5 years of medical device or pharmaceutical experience highly preferred. The preferred individual must have extensive HPLC experience, method development, validation, and related laboratory duties.



**Responsibilities** :



1. Develop, validate, and execute drug compatibility studies for medical devices by HPLC.



2. Document studies in accordance with internal quality system.



3. Writes methods, protocols, and reports.



4. Maintains chemical inventory.



5. Assists with functional testing supporting aging and verification testing.



Additional Duties: Write documentation for marketing support and drug compatibility. Assist engineers in determining corrective action for product failures. Operation of FTIR and UV/VIS in support of engineering studies.



**Requirements:**



Education: Bachelor s Degree in Chemistry



Experience Requirements: Three to five years of analytical medical device or pharmaceutical experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
