Kelly Engineering Resources is seeking a motivated **Application Engineer** to join a reputable auxiliary products manufacturer in New Berlin, WI. The Application Engineer provides technical application support for proper sizing of equipment globally to ensure the customers needs are met.


**Primary Responsibilities:**


+ Handle phone calls from customers, sales representatives, and other Company personnel

+ Provide technical support by sizing equipment and interfacing with the Companys Engineering and Manufacturing departments

+ Assist Regional and Technical Sales Managers in completion of individual projects, proposals, and orders

+ Provide quotations to customers that

+ Meet the customers requirements

+ Comply with company guidelines

+ Result in company-approved profit margins

+ Become versed in the complete line of Company products and services to be able to effectively support the entire organization

+ Follow up with customers after lead requests and submittal of quotation to ensure continuity of projects

+ Assist with order entry and ensure correct information is provided

+ Review orders with Engineering and Manufacturing personnel

+ Follow orders through manufacturing process, shipment and installation and start-up at customers site

+ Strive for continuous departmental quality improvement

+ Interface with other departments as needed on other projects, i.e. new Configurator system, Operations improvement, etc.

+ Collect competitive information to aid sales efforts

+ Learn appropriate tools to perform job better

+ Other duties as assigned


**Minimum Qualifications:**


+ Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering and/or 2-5 years of application engineering experience

+ Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills

+ Good engineering and analytical skills

+ Computer skills using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks and Microsoft Office (2003 or newer)

+ Good e-mail skills including literacy and composition

+ Self-motivated and team player

+ Strong customer service attitude and a quality focused mentality

+ Strong work ethic with the desire to learn something new every day

+ Experience in pneumatic conveying, heat transfer, thermodynamics, size reduction and/or related engineering roles is a plus

+ Strong technical ability a plus
