**Applications Support Specialist**

**Location** : Remote during pandemic, but otherwise would be in the office in Lake Forest, California; Portland, Oregon; or Washington state (still need to find out which city in WA)

**Contract to hire** : 3-6 months contract to hire

**Interview process:**

1. phone meeting with IT Manager

2. phone interview with IT Director

**Applications Support Specialist** is responsible for managing the resolution of application and system issues that arise across the business.

**Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:**

+ This position manages the resolution of application system issues that arise across the business.

+ Most of the work will be in Vista software applications, such as Viewpoint (a Construction ERP Software for Accounting/HR/Accounts Payable), PVault (Enterprise Content Manager), and a KeyStyle (a module within Vista Viewpoint for timekeeping and viewing paystubs). (Company size: 11,500 employees)

+ Respond to application problems that occur abruptly and require immediate solutions

+ Possess specialist knowledge of various applications and software, including but not limited to Vista Viewpoint and PVault.

+ Manage help desk tickets assigned with quick resolution on a rotation basis, supporting the west coast.

+ Assist with systems integrations/conversions

+ Maintain and update end user documentation and procedures

+ Set up new users, user maintenance, and user terminations

+ Assist with monthly and quarterly auditor request as assigned Complete additional duties as assigned

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Minimum 5 years of IT experience

+ Bachelors degree in business or IT major/concentration preferred but not required

+ Experience managing and supporting applications in a corporate environment such as JD Edwards, Vista Viewpoint, PVault or others.

+ Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to create organized and informative reports, as well as comprehensive and accurate documentation

+ Must be detail-oriented

+ Must have stable employment history and strong references

+ Ability to participate in multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight schedules

+ Experience in construction industry preferred

Team size: 6 Application Support Specialists. Will be hiring another early next year.

Hours: M-F from 8-5
