Description **IMMEDIATE HIRE OPPORTUNITY!**

**Assembler (1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts available) - Fargo, ND**

Kelly Services is currently recruiting for full-time Assemblers and Machine Operators to work on either 1st,2nd or 3rd shift and perform general operation and maintenance of SMT machines. This opportunity is with one of the world’s leading equipment and manufacturing companies, at its location in Fargo, North Dakota.

This assignment is paying $14.71 per hour and tentatively starts March 2018.

**JOB FUNCTIONS**


+ Perform general operation and setup of equipment.
+ Perform general start-up and shutdown procedures.
+ Assist mechanical engineer on new projects.
+ Perform general Preventative Maintenance and calibrations.
+ Must stay current with relevant acceptance criteria.
+ Perform rework techniques and repairs.
+ Perform statistical measurements and make appropriate adjustments.
+ Maintain equipment log.
**REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES**


+ High School Education or equivalent required.

+ Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred & previous work experience required.
+ Must be able to speak, read and comprehend the English language very well.

+ High degree of manual dexterity.
+ Physical requirements include the ability to stand for an 8 hour shift and to push/pull/lift up to 26 pounds throughout the shift.
+ Must be highly motivated, self-starter, and work with little or no supervision.
+ Demonstrated computer skills required, including ability to interpret prompts and graphs, field input requirements, and understanding of daily reports.
+ Ability to problem solve and determine appropriate level of escalation needed.
+ Demonstrated verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
+ Must be able to apply quality control techniques.
+ Must be able to read, interpret, and follow work instructions (MWI, SOP, etc.).
+ Experience with productivity, quality, and safety and environmental language and goals.
+ Demonstrated hand tool knowledge and operation.
+ Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.
+ Must have continual, acute numeric recognition.
**TERMS OF ASSIGNMENT**


+ 1-year contract: Tentative start date is May 2017 through May 2018. Extensions based on candidate performance and client’s business needs.
+ Overtime is expected during seasonal peaks. Shift options: (1st shift also available)

+ 2nd shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm Monday – Friday

+ 3rd shift: 10:00pm to 6:00am Sunday – Thursday
+ Safety shoes with internal metatarsal protection required. Must be ASTM approved. $120 reimbursement provided!
