Kelly Services is currently seeking an Assembler for one of our top manufacturing clients in Athens, GA.

As an Assembler placed with Kelly Services, you will complete simple assembly operations of large or medium-sized components, either by hand or machine assisted. Our client-s dynamic environment has a team focus and is the perfect place to take your assembly career to the next level.

Shift Information:

- 1st Shift: 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Thursday, $11 per hour*

*Plant needs may require that you stay late some days and that some weeks you may be required to work on a Friday and/or Saturday.

Responsibilities Include:

- Performing repetitive work to meet company quotas

- Positioning parts according to blue prints

- Fastening parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners using hand, air, and power tools.

- Tending to machines to perform fastening operations as specified.

- You will be assigned to one of the following roles depending on your skills and the available openings: General Assembly, Weld Inserter, Weld Robot Operator, Machine Operator, Tube Fabrication, or Pipe Brazier


- Previous Manufacturing Experience / Assembly Required

- Previous experience in assembly in appliances preferred but not required.

- You will need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be able to stand for 10-12 hours a day

- Familiar and able to fasten parts with hand, air, and power tools

- Possess the wrist strength to perform repetitive tasks with power tools for an entire 10-12 hour shift.

- Ability to work independently and safely at all times

- High School Diploma or Equivalent

- Available to stay late and work on Friday and Saturday with less than a days notice in addition to the scheduled hours.


- This is a long-term assignment with the possibility of being hired on to the company with benefits.

- With this assignment you will be off the week of the July 4th, the first week in October, the week of Thanksgiving, and the week of Christmas.
