+ **Pay Rate:** $14.00/hr

+ **Start Date** : ASAP (6+ month duration with possible extension/temp-hire based on performance/business needs)

**Position Summary:**

Under general supervision, performs tasks of substantial variety or complexity which require a thorough knowledge of assembly techniques, tools, materials, machines, and equipment. Works from engineering drawings, rough sketches, manuals or verbal instructions.


**Job Duties & Responsibilities:**




+ Assemble rotor, stator, brackets and associated accessories, add brakes, tachometers, or special components, routine test, paint, apply necessary nameplates or customer specified parts, and crate.

+ Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance functions involving the tools and equipment utilized in the assembly and re-op of motors.

+ Perform various mechanical and electrical re-op functions to correct defects identified during the assembly process and/or during test.

+ Assemble cable cap assembly (including epoxy potting system), assemble rotor, stator, brackets, and associated accessories, connect cable cap assembly to stator, routine test, paint, apply necessary nameplates or customer specified warning tags, and crate motor for shipment.

+ Assemble brush rigging per sales order specifications

+ Assemble armature, frame, rotor, and stator. Assure correct mounting for motor

+ Test motor (complete per required paperwork), finish and face off customer fits on brackets (front and back), apply adapter if necessary and face off adapter

+ Mount necessary accessories, brakes, tachometers, and blower motors. Paint motor to customer specifications, apply applicable nameplates and warning labels, tollgate inspection completion and crate



**Qualifications**




+ High School Diploma or GED required

+ 6 months of recent experience (last two years) in a manufacturing environment

+ Knowledge of safe factory practices involving the various types of machines/equipment (flip-tables, nail gun, spray paint equipment and miter saw, etc.) used to assemble motors or their subassemblies

+ Knowledge of shop mathematics

+ Demonstrate knowledge of motor assembly techniques

+ Knowledge of basic mathematics
