**Responsibilities:**

This position oversees entity level HR Leaders across the continuum of HR Services


+ Directing and managing the recruiting and talent management function for the entire organization

+ Develops recruiting and retention strategies for the organization including supporting strategies for DEI programs

+ Develops and implements talent management strategies for clinical, technical, professional, and managerial positions

+ This position serves as a key strategic planner, advisor, problem solver, and decision maker in support of creating successful recruitment and staff retention initiatives

+ Provides cultural integration strategies to support the expansion and continued growth of Keck Medicine of USC. Collaborates and continues to build a strong partnership with the HR Organizational Effectiveness organization

+ This role also will lead a team of entity-level HR Directors to develop, plan, and implement various HR initiatives and strategic priorities

+ Further responsibilities include analyzing HR practices and programs and recommending adjustments to employee relations, compensation, talent acquisition and management programs and initiatives

+ This individual advises management on organizational policy issues and recommends needed changes and builds organizational capabilities

+ Assists the organization in navigating the cultural impact of substantial transitions, such as mergers and acquisitions

+ Works with HR Business Partners and other HR centers of excellence to solve complex employee and/or talent challenges

+ Furthermore, this role advises and coaches leadership on HR policies, practices, procedures and programs

+ Uses knowledge of behavioral science and organizational development to improve the performance management program and strategies

+ Partners with Total Rewards to implement and enhance the overall system-wide performance philosophy and program


**Job description:**

Reporting to and working closely with the Chief Human Resource Officer, the Associate Administrator of Talent and HR Strategic Partnerships develops and delivers talent management programs that support the Organizations overall strategic direction. **Minimum Education:**

Bachelors Degree

Masters degree strongly preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


**Minimum Experience/Knowledge:**

Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated and progressive experience working as a Human Resources leader preferably within a hospital setting.

Experience in Talent Acquisitions, Talent Development, Organizational Development, and/or spanning across several HR disciplines.

Strong ability to communicate in both written and verbal forms.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team?oriented work environment.

Progressively increasing leadership, planning and management experience in human resources field.

Demonstrated strong organization, planning, analytical, innovative, critical thinking, strategic, collaboration, interpersonal and relationship building skills are essential. Established experience designing and executing human resources program(s).

Knowledge of current federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, policies, and compliance.


**Required License/Certification:**

Fire and Safety Certification.

If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only
