**ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR of RECORDS AND REGISTRATION**

**Blue Bell, PA**

**Hybrid Role- 2 days onsite/3 virtual**

**Temporary Position**


The Associate Director of records and Registration is a leadership position in the division of Enrollment Management and report to the Director of Records and Registration. The Associate Director is responsible for ensuring academic integrity of the colleges degree programs while upholding college policies and making data-informed decisions. The Associate Director will manage, coordinate, and maintain the Master Course Table, Term Scheduling, Academic Calendar, Classroom Management, Final Exam Scheduling, Grade Processing, Credit Evaluations, and Graduation. This position will provide strategic leadership daily for the Office of Student Records and Registration as it relates to transactional and business processes and implementing new technology.


**Here is the work you will perform:**


**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Provide strategic leadership and manage the development of the master term schedule based on students curricular needs to create scheduling pathways for program completion.


+ Applies knowledge of the College curriculum, anticipated student enrollment and scheduling practices to audit the schedule for the appropriate compliment of courses, sections, and total seats across sections; provide data analysis in support of institutional enrollment and retention goals; and coordinates the exchange of draft schedule documents with faculty coordinator and directors throughout the schedule development process.


+ Develop the Academic Calendar


+ Implement technology and functional business processes to ensure consistency, resource efficiency and continuous improvement to ensure record integrity and management.


+ Oversee graduation process and works in conjunction with other College offices to provide the appropriate support for commencement including the production of diplomas and graduate data and reporting.


+ Build and reinforce best practices in student record creation and updates, transfer credit posting, changes in academic programs, and maintenance of student status in compliance with appropriate federal, local and college regulations, policies, and guidelines.


+ Oversee the degree audit


+ Manage and develop reports for purposes of establishing production measures and ensure compliance.


+ Directly responsible for office oversight, including the supervision, and training of staff


+ Has college-wide responsibilities and requires travel between all campuses and off-site locations.


**ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:**


1. **Education/Training/Work Experience:**


+ Bachelors Degree required. Masters Degree in Student Development, Student Affairs Administration, Higher Education, or related field preferred.

+ Minimum of 2 years directly related professional experience in higher education.

+ Management / Supervisory skills preferred


+ **Specialized Knowledge & Skills:**

+ Understanding of Community College philosophy, practice, and population.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills; highly organized.

+ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

+ A working knowledge and experience with student information systems and web-based services for students. Ellucian/Datatel Colleague experience preferred.

+ Proficiency in the use of course management systems and Colleague a plus.

+ Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
