**Temp to Hire Opportunity is available for an Associate Lab Customer Service Associate in Dublin, Ohio to support the comprehensive quality testing of food and beverage products.**



This role is responsible for delivering communications between the respective lab areas and the customers, as well as some sample storage, organization, and retrieval tasks.


**The pay rate is between $18.50- $19.00/hr., based on experience**


**Schedule would be M-F: 9:30am - 6:00pm.**


Ideal candidate would have a laboratory background with experience dealing with large number of samples, so they have an understanding of the services provided however training is available. Candidate with sound customer service and communication skill with the ability and willingness to complete organizational support tasks would be preferred.


The Associate Customer Service Associate fulfills a key role within the Customer Service Department of the Quality Assurance Center of Dublin, Ohio. This role leads by efficiently and effectively providing information and customer support services to all customer factories. This primarily involves facilitating resolution of escalated issues of moderate complexity and assisting with technical support for internal sample receipt and delivery such as retrieving & preparing retest samples, assisting in login and shipping/receiving to process samples, and accepting courier truck deliveries during special circumstances. They demonstrate the highest level of internal/external customer service skills and

team-orientation, while also exhibiting a sound understanding of NQAC Dublin analytical testing

capabilities, customer base, and sample submission & processing requirements.


**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Active listener and presents ideas effectively, works across functional boundaries with the ability to effectively communicate with both customers and co-workers to build win-win solutions.

+ Conducts timely and accurate review of sample analysis information requests.

+ Research and timely resolves customer inquiries through email and/or phone calls.

+ Investigates issues regarding amended/missing report requests.

+ Finds retest samples from various locations in the facility, which may lead to pulling ~25lb totes of shelves above head level.

+ Resolves customer submission issues (SAP, Web & Manual) and respective communications.

+ Supports Login or Shipping/Receiving or Customer Service deviations where standing and sample/box movement is necessary.

+ Leads/finishes process improvement projects for the department or cross functionally for facility.

+ Initiates corrective actions or OBSs for quality or customer issues.

+ Updates/initiates SOPs or Standards.

+ Trains other employees as needed for any of the analytical functions listed above. Must be able to demonstrate how to perform the job themselves while training.

+ Maintains functional knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) required to complete job responsibilities within the department.

+ Update SOPs, Forms, Training Records to Date, Train New Associates, Functions Delegated byManagers as required.


**REQUIREMENTS:**


+ High School Diploma/GED equivalent required. Basic math skills required; degree or coursework in science discipline preferred.

+ Functional capacity as a team builder and team participant.

+ General knowledge of customer service attributes that support high customer satisfaction is required to provide proactive and responsive service to the customer.

+ Above average decision-making, communication & interpersonal skills

+ Strong oral and written communication skills are essential to help build and maintain positiveprofessional relationships with both internal and external customers. Must be able to maintainprofessional poise and demeanor.

+ Ability to cover Customer Service Department alone on scheduled working holidays for a minimum of 8 hours or otherwise approved by Customer Service Manager.

+ Demonstrate flexibility to cover weekends or after hour shifts to allow for PTO coverage.

+ Competence in software literacy, including LIMS and Microsoft Office.


**WORKING CONDITIONS:**

Minimal supervision is generally provided within this role. Flexibility will be a key attribute for success as well. Advice and supervision is provided to the incumbent on an as-needed basis, in order to support the direction of strategic activities involving initial project organization, project follow-up, administrative

decisions, change of status decisions, and financial (expense control) decisions.
