Responsibilities and Duties:


+ Support the design and implementation of cell therapy products and viral vectors by following laboratory procedures/techniques and developing new assays with minimal supervision

+ Focus on flow cytometry assays, killing and phagocytosis assays, and functional/potency type assays for release and/or development use at internal and external laboratories, but is not limited to viral titer-type assays to support testing for Process Development and Manufacturing CDMO/CMO

+ Support introduction of new analytical technologies, implementation of common reagents and controls, trending data, and protocols to support construct screening, research studies, research vector production, and CDMO tech transfer activities

+ Appropriately analyze data, interpret results, and maintain accurate laboratory notebook records; prepare and deliver presentations at team meetings

+ Troubleshoot/optimize experiments and procedures

+ Keep current with advances in techniques and analytical technologies

+ Flexibly support multiple research projects as the company grows

+ Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications and Skills Required:


+ Highest moral and ethical integrity

+ Bachelors degree in life sciences or related discipline, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant laboratory experience, or MS with 1 year of experience in the field.

+ 2 or more years of multi-color flow cytometry experience is required

+ Experience with cell culture is required


Preferred:


+ Familiarity with assay qualification parameters and requirements
