**Job Title** : **Associate Scientist**

**Position Summary** :

We are seeking a self-motivated and independent scientist to join us in discovering novel antiviral therapies at the virology department of infectious diseases. Core responsibilities include developing biochemical and mammalian cell-based assays, and screening and characterizing small molecules that target the innate immune system.

**Skills** :

An ideal candidate will be passionate about fast-paced drug discovery, learn new skills quickly, and maintain the precision necessary for reproducibility. Prior experience in two or more of the following is strongly desirable: qPCR, ELISA, flow cytometry, luciferase-based reporter gene assays and small molecule screening (96-well to 384-well formats). Must be highly collaborative, team-oriented, and capable of working independently.

**Education and Experience** :
Bachelor’s Degree Biology, Infectious Disease or related fields with 3+ years of relevant work experience
