**Position Description**



The Associate Study Manager is responsible for oversight of _in-vivo_ studies involving the pharmacokinetic testing of pharmaceutical compounds. As an Associate Study Manager, function as a key member of the Sales and Operations Team and function as a liaison between internal research scientists, and business development team members. Act as the Sponsor point of contact for pharmacokinetic studies entering execution phase through report issuance.



**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**



The Associate Study Manager will perform, but not be limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:




+ Participate in the scheduling of studies to ensure appropriate resource management.

+ Design studies that meet sponsors needs in a scientifically sound and cost-effective manner.

+ Address customer requests for information promptly and accurately.

+ Follow internal processes for accurate record keeping of study designs, proposals, and pricing logic.

+ Preparation of study proposals, protocols and reports as needed.



**Requirements:**




+ Bachelors degree with a minimum 2 years or a Masters degree with experience in a lab setting is required.

+ AALAS certification, and/or additional related training are highly desired.

+ Experience working with rodents and/or large animals.

+ Experience or understanding of typical and atypical dosing routes and sampling procedures.

+ Prior experience with preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and study protocols.

+ Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as well as provide comprehensive, after-hours, and on-call coverage as needed.

+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

+ Experience in the technical writing of preclinical study protocols or reports will be considered a plus.
