Are you an Attorney with a minimum of 3 years experience developing and delivering instructional programs for adults? If so, Kelly Legal Managed Services has just the opportunity for you!

Kelly Legal Managed Services (KLMS) has an immediate need for a full-time Assistant Manager with a background in education. This opportunity will work alongside the current Manager of Education and will be required to assist the current Manager in developing and implementing the policies and programs of legal education. As an Assistant Manager you will be tasked with providing strategic planning, needs assessments and course coordination and development of Legal Education, Business and Technology courses.

**Assistant Manager Responsibilities:**

+ Monitoring and analyzing new state and federal legislation, court decisions and administrative orders

+ Assessing potential impact on such decisions to the program

+ Managing budgets

+ Developing and overseeing the productions of publications

+ Maintaining the website for legal education on distance learning courses

+ Assisting the Manager with the supervision and management of all daily office operations in the managers absence

+ Perform additional essential functions as assigned.


+ Knowledge of human resources principles and practices

+ Ability to coordinate large scale and complex programs

+ Ability to use technology in the delivery of educational services

+ Ability to conduct needs assessments

+ Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information

+ Knowledge of adult learning theories and contemporary instructional design methodologies

+ Ability to define adult learning objectives

**Education/Background Requirements:**

+ Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited college or university

+ Minimum 3 years of experience working alongside management in the development, administration and delivery of instructional programs for adults

+ Minimum of 2 years experience supervising professional staff

+ Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with supervisor, co-workers, judges, attorneys, and other court staff and the public

+ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

+ Ability to perform all of the essential functions of this position.

+ Member of Maryland State Bar Association preferred, not required

+ Work experience in a legal environment preferred, not required
