Kelly Services is seeking highly motivated, qualified candidates for this temp-to-hire opportunity with a local manufacturing partner who is world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power units.

The principle duties of this position are to perform all activities associated with the dis-assembly, inspection and assembly of gas turbine engines. This position requires practical application of technical knowledge and strong numerical and reading skills to interpret complex work instructions. Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skills are needed for a team oriented environment.

This position will require the incumbent to perform dis-assembly, inspection, assembly and engine test duties using a variety of production tooling and equipment to accomplish these functions.

Key Job Requirements

-Engine dis-assembly/assembly - perform mechanic duties to disassemble engines, engine sections and accessories.

-Inspection - Inspect engines, engine sections, accessories and component parts to determine serviceability and repairability.

-Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.

-SAP and Solumina familiarity preferred.

**Requirements**

-High school diploma or equivalent

-Must be willing to work all shifts

-Engine overhaul and repair experience, V2500/F117 preferred, in one or more of the following disciplines: Dis-assembly, Inspection, Assembly.

Preferred experience:

-Military and/or aviation mechanic experience and A & P training or certification.
