Kelly Services is looking for BENEFITS ADMINISTRATOR for non-profit organization in Rapid City, SD.

***This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity***

**BENEFITS INCLUDE:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Savings Plan, Life/Disability, Educational leave, Holidays (12 per year), Paid time off, Jury leave, Wellness time, Volunteer leave, Employee Assistance Program and work/life services.

+ You are eligible if you are a full-time employee working 30 or more hours per week. New hire coverage begins on first of the month following 60 days of employment.

PAY: $26/hr

HOURS: 8am-5pm M-F

Responsible for directing and planning day to day operations of group benefit programs (FEHB, dental, vision, short term disability, workers compensation, life insurance, retirement)

Will be the point of contact for employee benefit enrolment and questions, manages all insurance billing , maintain employee database and files and works closely with the payroll manager and accounting assistant to ensure all direct hire employees benefits are accurate, competitive and in compliance with national, state and local regulations.

This position provides excellent customer service and designs quality benefits plans. Will continually investigate new benefit programs, improve exiting programs, and supervises and monitors benefits administration.


+ Administer various employee benefits programs such as group health, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, retirement, and wellness benefits.

+ Conduct benefits orientation and explain benefits self-enrollment system.

+ Assist employees with health, dental, liability and other related benefit claims.

+ Resolve administrative problems with the carrier representative.

+ Administer COBRA

+ Coordinator workers compensation claims with third party administrator.

+ Follow up on claims

+ Assist Sr. Director of Human Resources in obtaining statistics and information in renewal process of any health, life and retirement plans that benefit the company.

+ Prepare and set up meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs.

+ Ensure distribution of required employee notices.

+ Maintain and update company organizational charts, phone directory and other requested reports as needed.

+ Provide customer service support to internal and external customers.

+ Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the companys benefits package.

+ Design and distribute materials for benefits orientation, open enrollment, and summary plan descriptions.


+ 3 years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to be detail oriented.

+ Computer and technical skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.

+ Use of Smartsheet software
