Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Benefits Specialist in Lincolnshire, IL. Candidates must have experience with PEO and Prism HRIS.


This is a Direct Hire, Permanent position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

**Salary:** $60-70k


**Hours:** daytime, 8am 5pm


**Position Summary:**


Seeking an experienced Office Manager with strong bookkeeping and human resources management skills to manage office activities and handle daily operations of the office, including human resources, customer service and some warehouse management.


**Job Duties:**


The benefits specialist is responsible for the implementation and administration of all benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and supplemental insurance plans (i.e., accident, critical illness).


**Responsibilities and Duties**


+ Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS system to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.

+ Leads onboarding of new client benefits.

+ Works with General Agents and/or carriers to secure employer-sponsored group benefits quotes and new group installations.

+ Conducts benefits orientations for new groups in-person or via web.

+ Reviews and advises clients on renewals. Creates renewal analysis including comparison of current and alternate plan options.

+ Administers the open enrollment process.

+ Performs quality checks of benefits-related data to include the monthly reconciliation of all plans.

+ Assists client employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.

+ Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility.

+ Enrolls client employees with carriers and process life status changes.

+ Responds to benefits inquiries from client managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes, and other general inquiries.


**Qualifications and Skills**


+ Illinois Life & Health License is preferred. If not currently licensed, must obtain license within 90-days of hire (at the companys expense).

+ Associate degree or higher preferred.

+ Two years' experience in benefits administration and/or HR.

+ Experience working in PEO required

+ Experience working with Prism HRIS required

+ Experience working with General Agency and/or directly with medical insurance carriers to onboard and install new groups preferred.

+ Ability to prioritize and manage a heavy volume of new group installations.

+ Critical attention to detail and customer service.

+ Able to consistently meet deadlines.

+ Demonstrated experience with MS Office products, particularly Excel. Adobe experience preferred.

+ Ability to shift daily tasks as business needs change.

+ Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
