Description A well-established contract manufacturing company is seeking a Research Associate in their Analytical Development group. It is this company’s employees who help keep them on the cutting edge of contract manufacturing, and as a research associate for analytical development, you will work closely with leading drug discovery companies in a production-scale, cGMP facility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong protein chemistry background with experience in formulation, analytical method development as well as GMP analysis for monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins and peptides in a variety of dosage form such as liquids and lyophilized powders and suspensions for injection, topical gels, and other novel delivery systems.

**Job Requirements Include:**


+ Bachelors or Masters degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent
+ Experience with proteins, peptides or antibodies required
+ Proficiency with bioanalytical techniques including ELISAs, Western blotting, and HPLC
+ 3 or more years relevant experience in a GMP setting
**Responsibilities:**


+ Development, validation and transfer of analytical methods for immunoassays, HPLC, carbohydrate analysis, and some mass spectrometry.
+ Conduct data analysis and trending for multiple projects.
+ Biophysical characterization techniques on proteins.
+ Formulations development activities as assigned.
+ Managing cost and time constraints in meeting committed targets and schedules.
