Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a **Bioanalytical Scientist** for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in **Cambridge, MA** . This candidate will join a team that will develop and implement cutting-edge approaches using gene editing tools and high-throughput proteomics to support the identification of small and large molecule therapeutics for disease indications, including Oncology, Immunology, Infectious Diseases, Neuroscience, and Cardiovascular and Metabolic Diseases.

+ Mammalian tissue culture of cell line, primary cells and iPSC models.

+ Execution of cellular experiments 1 using shRNA, CRISPR/Cas9, and other functional genomics tools, and 2 compound treatment and proteomic preparation for LC/MS.

+ Critically analyze their data and troubleshooting skills will be essential.

+ Demonstrate a sense of urgency, be organized, and adhere to sensitive timelines.

+ Ability to perform mammalian tissue culture is required.

+ Manage multiple experiments and projects simultaneously is required

+ Interpret, troubleshoot, and report on complex data.

+ Basic statistical knowledge is required.

+ Strong capabilities to collaborate with scientists in multiple disciplines.

+ Cellular and molecular biology techniques including: transfections, transductions, RNAi and CRISPR/Cas9, microscopy, RTQ-PCR, western blotting, etc. is preferred

+ Experience with pooled genome scale functional genomics screens in vitro or in vivo and cell line engineering is preferred.


+ **Associate degree** in a science related field Biology/chemistry and **2+ years** mammalian tissue culture experience or **a Bachelors degree** in a science related field and **1+ years** mammalian tissue culture experience or **Masters degree** in a science related field and **0.5-1 years** mammalian tissue culture experience.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with people, internally and externally

+ Detail-oriented, with excellent record-keeping skills

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.

+ Able to effectively present scientific data and concepts to international standards.
