We are currently seeking a Biologist to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD **.**

**TASKS.** The contractor shall:


+ Perform laboratory based biomedical research on universal influenza vaccine projects.
+ Process patient samples for challenge studies as well as other clinical studies.
+ Organize patient samples and maintain a clinical sample database.
+ Use computer skills, hematology, virology, and molecular biologic techniques.
+ Perform database, data entry, and barcoding.

+ Reports and inventories will be provided to the Clinical Studies Unit and deposited to the NIAID Biospecimens database.
**REQUIREMENTS.** The contractor must have:


+ Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
+ Minimum of one (1) year of related experience.
+ Experience in Microsoft Office.
+ Professional knowledge of molecular biology and virology is needed.
