We are currently seeking a Biostatistician to work part-time (up to 80 hrs/month) with the National Institutes of Health in Baltimore, MD.

**TASKS.** The contractor shall:




+ Perform and present statistical analyses (e.g., cross-sectional., longitudinal and survival analyses) and data visualization (publication quality) using statistical software packages (e.g., STATA, R, SAS or Python) in collaboration with PI, staff and outside collaborators of the Clinical Research Program and the Office of the Clinical Director.

+ Work with a team on data analysis and data management on various large datasets .

+ Work with staff on the design of experiments, routine progress reports and manuscript preparation (as an active co-author).

+ Present statistical/biostatistical topics at in-house meetings or special events. The Clinical program offers in-services to the various staff members including sessions relating to biostatistics.

+ Review protocols under development or during scientific review.

+ Participate as a member of the Data Safety and Monitoring Board (DSMB). Evaluate/review approximately three clinical protocols quarterly for participant safety, scientific validity and study progress.





**REQUIREMENTS.** The contractor must have:




+ Ph.D. in a science related field. Three (3) years of specialized experience plus a Masters degree is equivalent to a Ph.D. Five (5) years of specialized experience plus a Bachelors degree is equivalent to a Ph.D.

+ Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related field.

+ Experience with clinical trials and data safety and monitoring and/or analysis of multimodal MRI data.

+ Proficiency in R, STATA, SAS, Python or other statistical packages.

+ Strong communications skills, both oral and written.

+ Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.

+ Ability to present analyses results and data visualization at meetings and other events.
