Kelly Services is seeking a Director of Human Resources for a Biotechnology company in South San Francisco CA.

**We are seeking** an experienced Human Resources leader who will be the primary driver of key HR business initiatives and a strategic partner to senior leaders and managers as the company scales and evolves. The Director will lead learning and development programs and performance management. As a key driver of organizational strategy, the successful candidate will align with managers and leaders to ensure strong business performance as well as employee experience. The role is a critical champion to our core values while maintaining a culture that supports them.


Reporting to the SVP HR, the Director will be on a small but agile team and provide deep expertise that will enable us to manage and develop talent, address people relations issues, and fortify processes that have high impact as the company grows. The ideal candidate will advise on new processes and systems to aid the organization in tactical needs as well as long term strategic needs.


**Your Role in Navigating the Maze:**


+ Implement high-impact L&D programs for manager capability and professional skills informed by business needs and industry research

+ Lead employee experience for your designated client groups, drive company-wide employee development and performance management efforts

+ Collaborate with senior leaders to address organizational challenges and ensure high-level of engagement and performance within their teams

+ Along with your HR colleagues, drive the culture of the company as we grow and evolve while maintaining a superior employee experience

+ Be a trusted advisor to the team by providing unbiased coaching and counsel to improve individual and team capabilities and enhance manager effectiveness to meet our needs

+ Lead organizational effectiveness strategies for the business including organization planning, talent assessment, and team building

+ Offer strategic business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching to members of the organization

+ Manage and facilitate successful delivery of the overall Performance Development System

+ Foster a cohesive, collaborative, inclusive, and fun workplace


**Your Navigation Tools:**


+ Bachelors degree with 10+ years of experience in a highly visible Human Resources role for a growing organization

+ Experience designing and implementing learning programs that drive business results

+ Expertise in organization development and design, engagement, and employee experience

+ A thorough understanding of employment practices and employee relations with a track record for creating HR initiatives to serve business needs

+ Experience leading executives, senior leaders and managers through thoughtful and thorough performance management tactics and evaluation

+ A passion for being an integral collaborator with senior leaders and an ability to influence effectively to promote innovation and achieve results

+ Enthusiasm for promoting and cultivating the company values

+ An authentic, passionate disposition with excellent communication and the ability to present effectively

+ Detail-oriented, proven ability to track, prioritize and drive to success multiple concurrent projects by analyzing data and driving sound decision-making

+ Experience in life sciences is preferred
