**Position Overview:**



The Branch Manager is responsible for leading a team that is for opening and servicing all types of new accounts and existing members in a timely and professional manner. This position requires the ability to engage with the team to direct and coach to delivering a positive credit union experience for members while achieving the branch goals. Proactively identify ways to maximize the credit union experience for members and staff in accordance with the credit unions policies and procedures.

Must have Excellent customer service skills. Looking for a professional appearance and personality to represent the company well.

DIRECT HIRE - NO contract period!



Hours will be 8 hr. shifts with 1 hr. lunch - shifts may vary 8-5 or 10-7



Training is in Jackson, MI 49201 - You have the option to commute for training or your hotel expenses will be paid for during this time.



**Salary is based on experience: $85-$90K**





**JOB DESCRIPTION:**



Essential Job Functions



? Follow all credit union policies and procedures; including policies and procedures for customer identification and all BSA requirements



? Promotes services consistent with the credit union sales culture



? Directs, coordinates, and monitors activities of direct reports to execute and implement institution's policies, procedures, and practices concerning opening deposit accounts and granting or extending lines of credit and consumer credit loans.



? Leads and coaches team members to perform to the best of their ability.



? Personally opens deposit and loan accounts and services existing accounts and assist teller line when needed



? Process personal lines of credit for overdraft protection and/or Visa applications.



? Cross-sell and advise our members of the products that would best suits their needs.



? Providing our members with excellent service in person and by phone, general and specific account and loan information, other related Credit Union services and products.



? Respond to members' requests, problems and complaints, and/or direct them to the proper person for specific information and assistance.



? Assesses risk of all financial transactions executed by organization personnel.



? Follow all credit union policies and procedures for customer identification and all BSA requirements. ? Contacts members and business, community, and civic organizations to promote goodwill and generate new business.


**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**


Directly supervises 3-15 employees in the Member Services and Front Line employees.



Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.



Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

? Branch New Member/Checking Goals



? Non-Interest Income, including Life, GAP, Disability, MBP, CP and card upgrades



? Expense Management, including managing assigned staffing levels and overtime



**Requirements** :



? A minimum education of high school diploma or GED.



? Bachelors degree preferred



? 2-3 year previous Credit Union/banking experience required

? The ability to prioritize and make on-the-spot decisions regarding customer transactions, weighing customer satisfaction issues with credit union exposure to loss or fraud.



? In-depth knowledge of all credit union deposit products and policies

? Ability to work well under pressure



? Strong communication skills - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff, members and the general public.



? Ability to remain calm while dealing with difficult members



? Knowledge of BSA, Regulation CC, D, E and all other pertinent regulations



? Organizational skills



? Mathematical Skills -Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as payoffs, accrued interest, incentives.



? Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
