**Job duties**


+ Engage with business units and stakeholders to define scope of effort, work deliverables, and project plans and help resolve/escalate issues as needed to successfully deliver project(s)
+ Create, execute and manage user enablement plan including but limited to writing process documents, how to queries, data visualization, etc.
+ Provide statistical and analytical support to key stakeholders, managers, and executives by creating institutional and ad-hoc reports
+ Provide expert advice in the usage and interpretation of data for assigned business area(s)
+ Define metrics to drive the business forward and turn data into valuable insights by leveraging creative solutions; communicate insights to key stakeholders
+ Assist in verifying correctness and completeness of the data model, data relationships, mappings and definitions for the functional business area.
+ Recommend improvements to existing business analysis and interpretation of data by business users
**Essential skills**


+ 7+ years of experience as BI/Data Analyst in a financial setting
+ Advanced SQL skills required
+ Familiarity with common business intelligence and data visualization tools, such as Tableau, OBIEE, BOBJ, etc.
+ Experience with data preparation tools such as Alteryx and Datawatch with some experience working with star schemas – facts and dimensions
+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities
+ Experience partnering with a geographically diverse team composed of full-time staff and consultants
+ Excellent communication skills, including an ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical staff
+ Proven ability to build consensus across multiple stakeholder groups through partnership
+ High degree of proficiency utilizing all Microsoft Office products
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar
