Sales Assistant I


**Overview:** This position is responsible for driving existing Security Vendor Partner technology demand with Resellers to increase and close sales. Has a thorough understanding of the direction of the Security Vendor Partners and the Companys strategies and initiatives. Create and execute business plans for the development of existing reseller accounts to increase sales and profits for Security Vendor Partner product lines. Limited travel to the Companys events and customer sites. Responsibilities Essential


Duties and Responsibilities:


+ Business Development Perform outside sales calls to develop profitable business with current customers and build relationships with Security Vendor Partners. Owns pipeline opportunities, forecasts, and other performance reports.

+ Works with Sales on developing sales strategies to penetrate accounts.

+ Executes enablement plans with customer growth with designated Security Vendor Partner.

+ Account Management Primary function is to sell the product of the security vendors to which they are assigned.

+ Works to identify and resolve customer needs. Partner with internal depts.. to determine optimal pricing to exceed business objectives.

+ Configure optimal solutions to enable customers to maximize opportunities with the end users. Maintains expertise on Security Vendor s company, products, programs, competition and market to be able to answer inquiries in a professional and accurate manner.

+ Assists Security Vendor Partners in creating and implementing business plans to uncover new opportunities with existing accounts to increase profitable growth. Communicates regularly with Security Vendor Partners and the Companys management to review account performance, market trends and business development opportunities. Relationship Management Builds influential relationships with the Security Vendor Partners sales teams, the Companys sales teams and customers.

+ Participate in Security Vendor Partner and the Companys sponsored meetings, trade shows, seminars, trainings, and other market events.

+ Market Analysis/Research Evaluate customer slippage reports to determine customers requiring focused attention and follow-up to regain market share.

+ Companies Product/Security Services Promotion Communicates with customers to build mindshare and gain market share for both the Company and Security Vendor Partners Qualifications


**Qualifications:**


+ Education: Minimum HS Diploma/GED Preferred: Bachelor Degree

+ Work Experience: 2-4 years of Sales Experience Travel

+ Minimal Work Conditions: Professional Office Environment

+ Certifications: Sales Certs a Plus but not required
