**Kelly** has an amazing opportunity in **Honeoye Falls, NY** for a **Business Development Manager** in the exciting world of **Electronics Technology** . This is a **Direct Hire** position with a starting salary of **$80,000 - $100,000** , a commission structure, and a comprehensive benefits package. Our partner offers a hybrid schedule of remote and in-office with potential for travel about 25% of the time. In this role you will be at the heart of everything that happens in Commercial Business Development for a vital and growing company.

**The Business Development Manager scope of work falls in three main categories:**

Sales Support / Sales Driving / Project Management

Product Portfolio Management

Strategic Management

**Responsibilities include but not limited to:**

Develop product policies aligned with market expectations in collaboration with management and the R&D teams

Management of business development through the capture of new opportunities and through the growth of ongoing business activities and historical accounts in collaboration with the sales force

Guide and direct the Sales and Engineering functions during prospecting, sales pipeline, and new product development processes

Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and maintain technology and product roadmaps

Lead with strategic decision making skills to decide on which opportunities to pursue

Responsible for setting prices and answering requests for quotations and proposals in a timely and professional manner

Develop product pricing, account-based pricing, and value pricing strategies with approval of Finance, Business Unit executives, and the General Manager

**Skills and Requirements:**

Electronics technology knowledge is a must (magnetics, passive component or power electronics background desired)

At least 5 years of experience with Defense; Civil Aviation, Medical, and/or Mass Transportation manufacturing markets

BS in Engineering field required / MBA preferred

Excellent communicator with strong verbal, written, and listening skills

Strong team player, self-starter, and highly developed business and sales acumen

Willingness and ability to travel over 25% of the time
