Description Kelly Services has multiple Call Center **Customer Service Representative** openings for our client, one of the leading, national health insurance providers, at their location in Albany, NY.

This is a long term Call Center Customer Service contract is 6 months to 1 year that will be paying **$16.50 per hour.**

**Must have minimum of 1 year call center customer service experience to be considered!**

**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**


+ Responsible for coordinating cases for precertification and prior authorization review.
+ Manages incoming calls, including triage, opening of cases and authorizing sessions.
+ Responsible for the identification and data entry of referral requests into the UM system in accordance with the plan certificate.
+ Responds to telephone and written inquiries from clients, providers and in-house departments.
+ Conducts clinical screening process. Authorizes initial set of sessions to provider.
+ Checks benefits for facility based treatment.
+ Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**


+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Minimum of 1 year of customer service call-center experience is required.
+ Experience in medical or insurance field strongly preferred.
+ PC proficiency.
**SKILLS** :


+ Proficient written and oral communication and analytical skills.
+ Requires good PC keyboard and Office software skills.
+ Medical terminology training preferred.
**Schedule: Training will be 4 or 5 weeks starting at 8:30 ending at 5:00 then the actual work hours will be monday through Friday any 8 hr shift between 8:00am - 7:00pm**
