Call Center Representative w/financial banking experience

Kelly Services has an immediate need for a temp to hire CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE with financial banking experience. This position pays $18/hour and does require the ability to work evening hours and rotating weekends. Must be available to work between the hours of 8:00am-8:00pm (call center is open 7 days/week)


+ Answer all incoming phone calls, emails, secure messages and chats from customers in a prompt and efficient manner.

+ Obtain required information from each customer to properly verify their identity prior to the release of any sensitive information.

+ Utilize numerous programs and systems to investigate and resolve customer questions or issues.

+ Complete all transactions with accuracy and within guidelines, policies and procedures.

+ As appropriate, research, follow up and resolve in a timely manner all customer calls, emails, messages and chats which are unable to be resolved in the initial touchpoint.

+ Build rapport with customers through friendly, engaging communication.

+ Meet key performance indicators

+ Develop oneself professionally by participating in training, engaging in self-improvement initiatives and skill-building activities to enhance product knowledge, systems knowledge, sales and customer relations skills.

+ Perform all other related duties as required or assigned.


+ Associate degree or equivalent experience in related field.

+ 1 to 3 years of call center experience in the financial industry

+ Strong banking and/or credit union background required

+ Expert communication and documentation skills, both verbal as well as written

+ Strong technical training skills and detail oriented (use Macbook and dual monitors)

+ Exceptional interpersonal and client engagement skills

+ Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
