**Kelly Services is actively recruiting for a permanent opportunity for a Scientist with CAR-T cell therapy experience! Location is in Minneapolis, MN.**

Position requires an experienced **Scientist/Senior Scientist** with expertise in molecular immunology, vector biology, and engineered cellular therapies to contribute to the development of allogeneic Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T cell therapies. The position will play a critical role in the generation of new CAR T vector constructs and troubleshooting the vector expression in T cells.

**Prior hands-on experience in the design of CAR or TCR constructs and molecular characterization of immune cells is required. Investigation will focus on engineering and evaluating novel CARs using in vitro systems.**

**Primary Responsibilities of the Scientist / Sr. Scientist includes:**

+ Design and generate CAR or TCR constructs for genetically modified allogeneic T cell products.

+ Experience in using DNA construction software such as VectroNTI or Genenious.

+ Ability to trouble shoot difficult to express CAR/TCR constructs effectively.

+ Independently design and execute molecular CAR-T characterization workflows and IND-enabling studies to characterize and optimize expression.

+ Application of molecular workflows to synthesize and clone vectors using internal and external resources.

+ Collaborate with the CAR-T platform development team to perform in vitro characterization of novel CAR-T cells in cell-based assays.

+ Design and performs studies to examine molecular and biochemical mechanisms of action in vitro.

+ Coordinates with external contract laboratories to generate novel reagents that compliment CAR products and facilitate product characterization and clinical correlative assays.

+ Provides shared support for ad hoc generation of research grade retroviral reagents and consult clinical grade construct for technical operation team, as needed.

+ Analyze and interpret data, prepare summary tables, and review raw data.

+ Write SOPs, study plans and reports.
