Description **Job Description**

This Position is a Temporary Assignment going for 16 weeks. With starting date beginning as early as May 7th, 2018.

Support the current human resources initiative to standardize all job descriptions across the organization using a project plan designed for optimal success and meeting an aggressive deadline. Support creation and maintenance of an enterprise responsibility and competency catalogue during the drafting stage of the job descriptions. Facilitate working group sessions with key stakeholders across the organization in order to revise and enhance current state of job descriptions to improve content. The success of this project will include: clear and concise expectations for employees as well as during the recruitment phase for hiring managers, tracking of knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as all pre-requisite qualifications to be eligible for positions, help further define the career pathways and succession planning, provide performance management criteria for our new software implementation in the future, as well as build relationships with our leaders by providing guidance on these principles.

2. Standard computer programs used in the department:

Must have advance knowledge in all Microsoft applications, specifically Work, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

3. Required skills and minimum years of experience:

Ability to work as a team member and collaborate effectively with other project team members. Communicate openly regarding project updates, including asking questions, participation in project team meetings, and willing to share ideas and support the overall project plan. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. Strong organization and time management skills. Attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to stay on task, prioritize workload and maintain efficiency. Strong interpersonal and listening skills.

Ideally would like a minimum of three years experience in job analysis/job description drafting. Knowledge of human resources processes and procedures. Ideal experience in a healthcare facility. Bachelor s degree required in human resources, business, organizational development, or industrial/organizational psychology.

8:00am 5:00pm, Monday thru Friday

6. Are there direct reports for this position:

No direct reports. Will indirectly report up to the project lead.

7. Dress Code:

Business Casual

There will be hands on training on all aspects of the job requirements including shadowing and observation. Individual will shadow and observe until fully comfortable to take on the tasks individually with minimal supervision. Once the individual is more confident in the tasks and format of the process workflow they will have independence and ownership of assigned tasks and job families to complete their associated job descriptions. Bi-weekly project team meetings will occur to provide updates on all tasks. Assistance and guidance from partnering human resources subject matter experts are readily available to provide support during the project, including Compensation and HR Advisors when needed.
