Kelly Services is currently seeking a Credit Analyst in Syracuse, NY with a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning company.



This is a Temporary position with possibility of going permanent.





Title: Credit Analyst


Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


Pay Range: $21 to $26 / hr. Depending on Experience


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This position reports to the Credit Manager and provides credit support for the business units within the Financial Shared Services group. The job includes credit analysis, cross-functional involvement with all other Shared Services departments, customer service emphasis, internal and external customer contact as well as continued focus on operational improvement opportunities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide Credit Analysis (establishment of credit lines, approval of daily jobs/credit requests) for all business units supported by Shared Services Finance

Utilize a variety of legacy/ERP systems to assist in credit analysis

Provide customer master maintenance for ERP/legacy systems

Perform annual reviews per Finance organization requirements

Provide credit guidance to internal/external customers as required

Correspond directly with branch/business unit management in regard to credit requirements/issues

Ensure response times are within established parameters via team approach to daily tasks

Remain within or under established bad debt thresholds by accurately assessing credit risk

Participate in various strategic and tactical project initiatives

Utilize ACE tools to seek out process improvement opportunities; participate on ACE teams and in ACE initiatives as required


TYPICAL EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

AA/AS degree in Business or Accounting with 5 10+ years experience in Credit, Finance or Accounting

BA/BS degree in Business or Accounting with 3 - 5+ years experience in Credit, Finance or Accounting

MA/MS degree in Business or Accounting with 1 2 + years experience in Credit, Finance or Accounting


QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience providing credit analysis and guidance

Strong customer service skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of SAP preferred

Knowledge of C-10 (JD Edwards), Jonas and Intuitive systems helpful but not mandatory.

Strong analytical skills

Ability to follow up and follow through with minimal oversight t
