We are seeking an **Change Management Specialist** role for a Pharmaceutical Company based in Illinois!


**Schedule:** Monday-Friday, Standard business hours


**Duration:** 7 Months (November 2022-June 2023)


**Pay:** $46/hr


**Location:** Lake County-Abbott Park, IL


**Change Management Specialist**


**PURPOSE:**

Change Management Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting Foundation Processes change management, communication and training efforts as assigned. This includes, but is not limited to, change management planning, communication strategy and execution, meeting coordination, training design/development, and partnering with end users to drive understanding and compliance to the global operating model.


**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

Development and execution of change management strategies in support of Foundation project efforts, including consistent and integrated change management, communications and training plans.

Collaboration with broader Change Management Team and related Foundation processes on various projects to build integrated plans and ensure timely delivery of deliverables to support business needs

Defines and measures success criteria and monitors change progress with Process Teams, Project Manager and Director Change Management

Coordinates and facilitates focus groups and/or awareness sessions to promote stakeholder engagement and compliance with planned timelines

Contribute to existing process area meetings aiding in development of presentation content and action item follow up. (i.e.: End to End Meetings, LKU)

Ability to write and edits engaging and visually appealing communications in support of related projects and targeted process area coordinating with Director Change Manager, where needed (i.e.: project communications, success stories/wins, executive summaries, blog posts, presentations)

Design, development, and deployment of training courses and associated course assets leveraging eLearning and blended solutions

Utilizes Foundation standard communication and training templates and processes(i.e.: SharePoint and/or shared drive, Captivate)

Ensures all Foundation change management, training and communication deliverables are in alignment with Abbvie Branding guidelines; formats/packages and organizes assets prior to delivery

Works with Foundation Change Management Director to identify and pursue related initiatives that will improve internal communications, promote employee engagement, and support/promote company culture and shared values.

Leverage available metrics and reports to identify Change Management opportunities to better support and drive model adoption and improve collaboration.

Works closely with the Training Logistics team to ensure timely and accurate training and documentation publication.


**QUALIFICATIONS:**

The Change Management Specialist will be accountable to the Director of Training and Change Management for the Foundation Processes Organization. The key impact of this role is to ensure meaningful, impactful communication and training to drive the effectiveness of the global operating model.


Bachelors Degree in Communication, Education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning or related function.

5+ years of experience and proficiency in developing and delivering communication and training solutions including strong group facilitation and excellent written communication skills.

Change Management Methodology Certification Preferred (e.g.: PROSCI Certification, ACMP Certification, or Managed Change Certification)

Understand the end to end process and roles and responsibilities of the area in which they support (i.e.: roles/responsibilities, high level end to end process L4, associated metrics)

SAP experience is highly preferred.

Proven ability to adapt communication style for a variety of modes as well as for multicultural audiences.

Ability to adapt communication style, techniques or methods to meet user needs, observe and interpret behavioral queues, listen with empathy to understand users frame of reference, coach and provide feedback.

Strong command of the English language and effective communication skills with employees at any level in the organization, including executives, are a must.

Demonstrated instructional design and development skills including needs analysis, design and development methodologies, and training evaluation.

Skills in training development with focus on instructional design and web based training deployment leveraging authoring tools such as Captivate.

Multi-lingual ability preferred.
