Kelly Science, a global staffing and solutions provider of specialty talent, is currently recruiting for an Chemist Opportunity! This dynamic direct-hire role is with a chemical manufacturing company in the Baudette, MN area.


Pay: $45k - $65k/year depending on experience


Duration: Direct - Hire (permanent)


Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm


Relocation assistance available


Function:


This position is responsible for independently performing testing in a pharmaceutical analytical development laboratory.


Job Responsibilities:


+ Execute method verifications, method transfers, and validations in support of new product development.

+ Perform testing on raw material, in-process, and finished product samples

+ Set-up and confirm suitable operation of equipment and instrumentation

+ Collect data and generate reports to relay results

+ Perform review of collected data

+ Perform calibrations, preventative maintenance, and repairs on instrumentation as needed

+ Perform laboratory tasks such as housekeeping, auditing documentation, and ordering supplies

+ Other tasks as assigned


Qualifications:


+ BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or closely related field

+ 1 - 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, food, or closely related industry

+ Computer literacy (word, excel, outlook, etc.)
