Description **Chemist -**
Analytical Technician I - $20/hour. After the first week of safety training, the Analytical Tech will train on swing shift, including weekends and holidays. The schedule is 10:00 am – 10:30 pm or 11:00 am – 11:30 pm. After approximately 10-12 weeks of training on swing shift and days, will rotate between days and nights every 12 weeks (schedule is then 6:30 am – 7:00 pm or 6:30 pm – 7:00 am ). The goal is to have that person go to nights around the 12 week mark. Two week schedule is work Mon-Tues; off Wed-Thurs; work Fri-Sun; Off Mon-Tues; work Wed-Thurs; off Fri-Sun. Schedule then repeats.
**Duties:**
+ Compile and interpret results of tests and analyses
+ Provide and maintain a safe working environment
+ Conduct chemical or physical laboratory tests to assist scientists in making qualitative or quantitative analyses of solids, liquids, or gaseous materials
**Experience:**
+ Operational knowledge of HPLC and GC instruments
+ Demonstrate good proficiency in wet chromatographic and spectral techniques
+ Validate and standardize any needed laboratory standards
+ Works with little supervision.
**Education:**
B.S in Chemistry
