Description Kelly Scientific is searching for a driven **Chemist** to join a dynamic team of scientists at an analytical testing laboratory in the Portland, OR area. This Chemistry Analyst will be working in a clean room environment performing analyses on chemical and water samples.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Working hours for this position vary, must be willing to work weekends and overtime. Shifts will always be five days on and two days off.

**Job Responsibilities:**


+ Perform a variety of analytical chemistry tests and analysis in a clean room environment
+ Perform troubleshooting and calibration of instruments
+ Participate in Quality Assurance Program, Safety Program, and complete various trainings
+ Must be able to identify the occurrence of departures from the quality system
+ Safe use and disposition of hazardous chemicals for cleaning
**Requirements:**


+ BS/BA in Chemistry
+ 0-2 years of experience in a lab setting
+ Prefer candidates with experience working in a real cleanroom
+ Prefer candidates with IC or ICP-MS experience
+ Prefer candidates with strong math skills
+ Must have experience demonstrating a keen attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and exceptional organization skills
+ Must be flexible and able to meet deadlines
