Entry level position in the Cleveland area


Work with a leading chemical supplier


2 nd shift (3PM 11:30PM) and 3rd shift available (11:30-7:00 am )


Chemistry Lab Technician position

Highlights:


Key Accountabilities


Work in a team environment with shift supervisor and Union Operators to meet production needs by providing quality testing and support


Prioritize production samples for incoming and outgoing materials.


Test incoming raw materials and finished products according to procedures for wet chemistry such as Viscosity, Refractive Index, Auto-titration, Gas Chromatography, Boiling Point, and more.


Test finished products according to procedure for sand chemistry such as: Strength of materials testing, tensile strength, and compressibility.


Provide and analyze test results to approve materials


Participate in a variety of laboratory support activities for specific testing programs


Prepare certificates of analysis


Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and supplies


Write non-conforming material incident reports


Follow standard laboratory methods, practices, procedures, policies and regulations regarding laboratory materials and equipment


Other duties as assigned


Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field; specific field may be substituted with equivalent experience


While some lab experience is a plus, it is also not required as this is an entry level position. training provided
