**Job Description:** 3 to 5 years of radiosynthesis experience working with chemistry modules/chemistry boxes. Experience with running meters, running diagnostics, trouble shooting electrical and computer issues. Ideally, candidates will be able to work well with other and cross functional teams.

**Overview:** A Chemistry Support Specialist is a position responsible for engineering support functions which will provide corrective repairs, preventative maintenance and installation activities surrounding radioc units. These activities must also be documented in a manner consistent with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. The Support Specialist must have core experience in Radiochemical Synthesis processes and knowledge about radiopharmaceutical manufacturing operations. This individual must have strong decision-making skills and must be willing to travel to all of the Clients manufacturing sites though out the US. Approximately 50 - 75% travel may be required in order to provide critical support functions to Client sites, attend training activities or corporate functions.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** :

+ Take requests for technical support and follows up on open requests and provide prompt closure c. Provide phone support services

+ Handle day to day engineering support needs for radiosynthesis units.

+ Perform and lead support work independently or in teams providing routine and emergency repair activities.

+ Write, edit, update and review standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed

+ Ensure completion of documentation related to service work or system performance testing in compliance with GMP

+ Take an active role in planning maintenance activities

+ Demonstrate good radiation dose management

+ Provide technical assistance to operations on other technology intensive or operations critical support systems including but not limited to a delivery systems, hot cells, manipulator arms, cyclotrons and data loggers.

+ Shift and weekend work may be required

+ After hours and /or On-Call support

+ Aide in facilitating on site engineering projects

+ Operate a radiosynthesis system according to proper operating procedures

+ Train others on the safe and proper operation of the synthesis unit

+ Perform radiation safety duties to assure compliance with all regulations

+ Assure regulatory compliance pertaining to the safe handling of radioactive products

+ Provide department technical training when necessary

+ Work with high voltage equipment required.

+ Supply trend analysis and tracking of performance data

+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions required.

+ Experienced in Microsoft suite required.

+ Detailed oriented, accountable, able to work in a team environment with minimum supervision required.

+ Provide across to Clients network technical training when necessary

+ Supply trend analysis and tracking of performance data

+ Respond to all calls in a reasonable amount of time.

+ All other duties as required.

**Qualifications:** Able to troubleshoot electronics down to the component level required. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, procedures, and manuals required. Working knowledge of mechanical tools. Working knowledge of project management techniques required. Knowledge of basic cGMP practices and procedures preferred. Occupational exposure to ionizing radiation required.
