Hours: 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday (25 - 30 hours/wk) Hours are flexible

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr (pay rate flexible depending on experience)

**_Must be proficient with QuickBooks Enterprise Edition and have five years of Inventory Management and Logistics experience in various roles preferably in the medical device industry. ERP experience preferred - or experience in Distribution._**

**Summary:** The Inventory Control Specialist/Administrator is a key member of the Operations and Finance Department. The individual is responsible for managing finished goods and component inventory as well as assist with Customer Service transactions. This position is responsible for communicating inventory management to include cycle counts. Strict adherence to the companys Quality System is required.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Inventory Control/Administrative Duties

+ Enter receipts, lot numbers and expiration dates in the system of record.

+ Add new item codes to QuickBooks and establish applicable pricing rules.

+ Manage the cycle count process with 3rd party logistics provider.

+ Communicate and track monthly cycle count metrics. Manage the inventory adjustments/reconciliation.

+ Coordinate annual physical inventory process and reconciliation.

+ Publish monthly metrics for cycle counts, line fill rate and sales order transactions/back orders.

+ Manage vendor relationship with the 3rd party logistics warehouse.

+ Coordinate the monthly meetings and minutes with the 3rd party logistics warehouse.

+ Document and track sales order discrepancies.

+ Review open sales order report on a monthly basis and adjust as required i.e.: due dates, order close out.

+ Coordinate the process for handling damaged goods to include labels and the nonconforming process with Quality Management.

+ Manage off site component inventory and report status on a monthly basis.

+ Assist with sales order processing as required.

+ Process invoices after shipment of goods.

+ Work with Quality and Regulatory Departments to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Performance Improvement & Growth Initiatives

+ Identify process improvements.

+ Provide recommendations on improving the companys quality system.

Human Resources & Talent Management

+ Work collaboratively with Finance and Sales and Quality and Regulatory departments to ensure required deliverables are executed according to the companys Quality System.


+ Assist as needed to provide analysis of organizational needs and recommend technical solutions.

+ Assist as needed to direct and enforce procedures around technology and telecommunication.

+ Assist as needed internally and/or with outside IT consultants in the areas of procurement, inventory management, logistics and requirements planning.

+ Present efficiency solutions to leadership in areas that will directly impact Inventory, Finance and Sales productivity.

+ ERP -Enterprise Requirements Planning-tools to refine the planning, procurement, and inventory control processes.

**Functional Competencies**

+ Results Driven/Self Starter

+ Inventory Management/Supply Chain/ Sales experience.

+ Proficient in Quick Books and or a comparable Financial/ERP system.

+ Excellent organizational and communication skills

Bachelors degree preferred.

Quick books proficiency

Five years of Inventory Management and Logistics experience in various roles preferably in the medical device industry.
